I CRASHED MY BIKE!

omg, my first motobike accident!


Was going to pasir panjang to meet the tweens for drinks after work. Went to top up my petrol at the shell station near zouk, so i took the road going to queens town there from bukit ho swee.

while i rode pass bukit ho swee, i was thinking to myself. what would i tell her if i crashed. and i crashed. this was wad happened.

it was green light
I was going straight den all of a sudden this idiot taxisurved out from the opposite direction.
I was like "OH SHIT , OH SHIT! OH SHIT!" when i put on my brakes. den WHAMO!

That idiot did not put on his brakes, he did not even slow down!

I got flung out of my bike, landed on his car (i think his wind screen) and plummered to the floor.

Thank God i wore a helmet. cos my head crashed against the floor. and it does not hurt abit. Guys, go buy Hyper racing helmets. ahaha. I was shouting "you idiot , you f**king idiot!" i turned around and looked at my bike...

den i was shouting "You diot, You gonna Pay for that man! you f**king gonna pay for that man!"

To my surpprise, it some old man that stepped out of the cab. Next think i knew, i was screaming hokkien profanities at him.

This red porshe pulled up beside me andthis guy called yuey came out and help me.he was like scolding the old man. ahaha, i took down the particulars of the old cabbie and just sat down in pain. Yuey was like shouting to me "Dude, you fucking rocked man, it a miracle! look what you did to his car man, his head lights and wind screen is friggin gone!"

yup, thats Yuey, and the red porche is his. ahaha.

I called The twins and they decided to rush down. jeremy reached first. i don't know how he came so fast. but the ambulance was faster. and i was rushed to the hospital and jem stayed behind to look after my stuff.

The first thing i did when i reach SGH was to punch yanren. ahaha.

kelvin, home club manager, rushed down too see me. gave me a few good advice on insurance claims and ....pharmaceuticals.

Bryan and marc came down next, well kinda had fun at the hospital.

after all the check ups and anal probes, i was only found to have a compound fracture on my toe. the second right toe. well, it may sound minor, but i can't friggin walk because if it. darn.

after all those, Bryan sent me home. damn nice of him.

I would like to thank, Jeremy, for rushing down to the scene and hleping me to take care of the situation there, and Yan ren and Yan yi for rushing to the hostpital to see me and push me around on the wheel chair. Bryan and marc for coming down all the way and sending me home. Kelvin for rushing down and Chin and roy for showing care. and most of all i would like to thank the 3 samatrians that i can remember, Yuey, Cheng yi (the guy from ngee ann whold helped me took all those pictures!) and some guy in an american express shirt. there should be more people like this in singapore.

and last of all i would like to 'thank' Tan Cheng Kong for doing this to me. May your soul burn in hell when your flame dies out.

hmmm.... went to zoukout, Did not sleep from the time i alighted the plane from thailand, went to zoukout, partied toll 8am... went home to bathe, den rushed down to work at homclub at 12noon.... worked till 12.30am... went home around 2 am. slept at 3 am. HAHA. works. was at full moon party in thailand before zoukout!

this rocks. I'm a Full fledged Raver now.

Ah ha. monday. i love mondays. clubs don't open on mondays, therefore my services are not needed at homeclub.
went outta meet Bryan the brave bull for dinner. it's interesting how we stayed in contact and enjoy each ther's company after so many years of gradutation. It's really nice, knowing you have friends that hang out with you not because you are a worthy contact, but just because they enjoy your company.

we planned to smoke "ang hoon" (paper rolled tobacco) at west coast in order to pratice the cool skill of rolling joints. But even god would not have predicted that my trusty phantom's clutch cable snaped the moment we reach west coast.
darn.
the bike shop at west coast was closed.
made a few phone calls and found this bike shop called "racewerks" in alexendra that is nice enough to stay open for me.

i rode my bike there without a clutch.

it's amazing how hard it is to ride your bike without this small yet indispensible motorpart. well, after a few brushes with death, i reached and got my bike fixed by a far-from-sorber norman. kudos.

annnd. that is apprently all. really.

had a great time after that though. ahaha

I know... i'm not the blogger type of person. I can hardly sit down and type. I'd rather sleep or do something else other than blog. but oh well, here i am.


I don't know what is going on in my head these few days. I don't know where i'm heading now. The main thingy i'm doing now is to wait for my national service, whis is on the 12th of January 2007. BMTC school 2. other than that i'm working and spending. I seem to be working and working and trying to enjoy myself during work. and then, spend all my money or save all my money. Sometimes i wonder, is this the type of life i'm gonna lead after I graduate? I'm too used to having something to do, something that I HAVE to do, like school. nobody blames you if you are broke. but if you are bumming around, it's a big problem.

Somehow, i admire those friends who can bum around while waiting for NS. They do nothing but going online everyday and getting money from their parents! I don't know why i want to work, i don't know why i'm doing my events stuff, i don't know why i'm freelancing. i don't even know why i'm trying to earn so much money for! I don't know why i ride my bike. I don't know why i buy my DJ equiptment, mp3player, new clothes. shoes. I don't know why. Are they surpposed to make me happy? I work very hard to get money to maintain my lifestyle. Truthfully, i'm not happy during work. who is? if i don't need all these stuff, i don't need to work. well sometimes i wonder, if i'll be happy that way.

I don't want to be a rich businessman. i don't know if i can be. not alot of people are rich, but our media make it seem so easy to spluge. Why are we all trying to act as if we can spend, weather or not we can. Does assets really make a personality? what are we? why are we branding ourselves everyday. why do you judge a person by the car he drives, the clothes he wear?

I want to lose all these material possestions. I rather take my money and travel.

hahah , sorry, i haven't been blogging religiously this week, Thus causing the death of our beloved steve irwin.

I think everyone Really made a Big Hoo Ha over his death. It's like suddenly EVERYONE's a fan of steve irwin. Most of the people who put the turtles on their MSN Display names Don't even Know who is he, Let alone Watch his show. Now, EVeryone seem to be watching his show. To be frank, I enjoyed Steve Irwin when i was a kid, But I haven't Watched or heard about him for at least the last 3 years, when they stopped shoing him on national TV and switched him full time to cable TV. WHat a shame, I'v got no cable. Dosen't bother me though. Some of the people i see started to Know EVERYTHING about steve, like as if they are a fan. I find this sad.

Thats the problem with people. You only Start to appreciate people when they are gone. Whats the use? I remember when a schoolmate of us died. SUDDENLY everyone seems to be her friend in someway. Oh wow, I went back to my secondary school on the 31st of august.
Was reluctant to do so at first, as nobody in nan hua respected me a a respectable young man. The teachers were okay though, are matured enough to change their impression of me ( i don't know if they are faking it), But from the eyes of fellow students who graduated with me, i can tell from their eyes that they are say "huh, chris, that loser/joker from 403"

I will Look at them and smile to myself "I'm probably 10 times more succesful than you, you little Pee hole, get loss!" , Give them a weak smile, asking what are they doing now (mostly NS), and walk away.

I bet you all my Head you guys Bloody Know the reason why i wanted to go back to nhhs so eagerly. Partially because I want to mintain good relations with nan hua for further business opportunities, but Ya, you guys know the main reason.

All and all, I was Happy i was there, Teachers were all praises, A good ego filler. Most of the conversations starts like this

Hey, haven't blogged for long.
Omg, National day was Bad... bad bad bad... damn weird.

1.I went to Toa payoh before goign to work to pick up the keys to the club. i went to look for a singapore flag to put on my bike to act cute. know what? I CANNOT FIND A SINGLE FLAGE. omg! it's NATIONAL DAY! where did all those drivers get the cool little flags?!?never mind, i went to pick up the keys ad went to the club.

2.Everything was fine, i set up normally.... and know what? i saw a face of an old woman staring at me from the side of my eye while i was lighting candles around the club. my god! I was like "?!?!?!" ahaha.... I got the creeps and den told my manager. who told all the bosses, and they ALL came down and burned joss sticks and joss paper. very superstitious bunch. I guess the richer you are, the mre superstitious you get, as you've got everything to lose.

3.All my life, i don't have a problem with mosquito bites, but on that day, i had like tons of them on my leg. awwww!

4. the day lastd quite fine, nothing much happened , we packed up and i was ready to go mambo. lol. but it friggin' rained. I had no choice but to wait. All of the sudden there were 2 malay dudes screaming their heads off across the river outside homeclub. First i Tought they were just pissed drunk and playing in the rain. Then, one of them started to wave frantically at us shouting "Buoyant! buoyant!"
It was then it dawned apon us that one of them has dropped into the river.
Being an ex lifeguard, i tried to think.

so, i decided to exercise the 7 principles of lifesaving > "Talk , reach , Throw, wade, row, swim with aid , swim and tow" arrange in order of danger from safest to most dangerous.

-no use talking to the victim, he's too far.
-nothing to reach him with,
-Nothing to throw to him as all the floats along sg river are either stolen or non existant.
-water is too deep, can't wade tru it.
-hahah no boats around for me to row.

so i was thinking, "swim with aid and tow him, nonononononono... shit, i'm not gonna jump into that choppy dirty water!"

my manager was like "Fuck you chris, you DON'T go and jump in ok!"

then the police arrived and this was in their head>>>> " . "" doughnuts "

i was like shouting at them "get me a rope! rope!"
hahah they wer like " wad happened? omg!"

after which i ran into the club to take a ladder, which was totally reduntdant as it's not long enough actually. haha. but just incase.

Police cars and fire engines were zooming all over the place , but none of them stopped where the victim was. finally, the civil defence came and hauled him up with a rope. hahah $1200 gone for him! hee hee.

I don't know why i'm feeling restless and agitated these few days. I get Upset very easily.

The kinda looks people give you. OMG. Everyone's asking me " you are an FSV grad? why are u working as waiter here?" "chriss, you work there 1 year already wad u gain?"

I fully understand the phrase "we are the Unforturnate led by the Unqualified to do the Unnessesary for the Ungreatful." I can stand takign orders from some... forget it.

Colleges are the best, some times they make me go "WTF is wrong with you?!?!?!"

Went to RED STAR RESTAURANT for dim sum on sunday! OMG the dim sum there is like, wow. the prawns mog, THE PRAWNS can bounce in your mouth when you chew them! "HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!?!" one may ask, but i assure you that I've been there done that.

On saturday, while i was working, We say a great display of fireworks that lasted over 20mins. Beautiful , but for what? welcome delegates from italy? It's okay to display fireworks for them, but one that lasted longer than our national day's fireworks display? is it nessasary?
well,i'm not complaining yet. wait till you hear from the tax payers.

OH MY! Students from Nan hua really do change a lot. They are a lot more extreme. It's either I see the downright geeks, or the extremely outrageous! I saw this girl, 15 or 16, with make up , tinted har, Large NUM bag and LV purse, strolling down the canteen yakking on her her Razor V3.
-Back then, the girls had pimple cream, BLACK NECK LENGTH hair, Tiny 'outdoor' backpack, fake jpg wallet, lumbering down the canteen Yakking with her friend about the new westlife album, with the nokia 3210 safely in her pocket and a copy of "Chi YU Shou Ce" in her hand.
Non cool at all.

For those who know me well, I decorated my rear seat with Black feathers, it's this long thingy that Divas like to wear around their neck. Smart me decided to take it down today and put it in my saddle bag, in order to prevent the possibilities of it being caught in my wheels. Apprearantly, the wind blew the feathers out of my saddle bag, and into my drive chain. OMG. I did not know if should laugh or cry. @#$%^&^%$#@. Took me half and hour, stranded at the side of a road ( with witty drivers passing), to remove the feathers from my drive chain. IT was like TOTALLY stuck!. Hahah thank god I manage to pry it out and continue to zoom to work with a feathery bike.

I consider today a well lived day. hahaha.

it's like, 6:44 Am now and I've just bath, came back from mambo(zouk).
not in the bestest condition to pen my thoughts down. coz what ever's left in my brain now sounds like
